Every horse is unique in regards to their feet from competitive shoeing to barefoot trimming and every horse requires something different. To meet their unique needs, every shoe is custom fit. Every toe length is measured and all hoof angles are matched. Shoes are hot shaped to fit with sharp edges ground before application. This makes for safe, balanced shoeing that is practical for performance or trail horses. Every horse gets the same attention and quality level of service.

Therapeutic Care

Collaborating alongside you and your veterinarian, Nathan can provide whatever is necessary for your horse. Over 10 years, Nathan has apprenticed with other farriers and attended clinics to learn a variety of techniques to help lame horses. He is up to date on the latest practices and always carries in stock the materials and products needed for any application. For more complicated cases, Nathan can also hand make or fabricate custom designed shoes. Nathan understands the stress that can come with these cases and with good communication will be there for you and your horse in those times of need.

All Season Servicing

Maintaining a schedule is important for keeping a healthy hoof capsule whether that’s with or without shoes. Nathan is in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for six months a year and travels back to Jackson in the winter months to care for horses who live in the valley year round. Nathan keeps a tight schedule with owners to keep horses sound in all weather conditions, year round and as the seasons change.
